Over the past couple year's I have bought four or five different type of head phones. At first I tried the cheap old kind that are large head phone's that go over your head with big ear muff type of speaker's. These were way too bulky and would sometimes fall off my head when I was moving around a lot. Then I tried several different rest-in-ear phones. Some of these had the feel that I wanted, but I am so active that the cord always seemed to get tangled up in something. Both types have these darn cord's that dangle down almost to my knee's. This was always an inconvenience and a pain in the "you know what". They would get yanked out of my ear's and would usually end up breaking on a hard surface. One time I was riding a bicycle and the the cord got caught on the handle bars on the bike while I was turning. The ear piece's came out of my ear's and the wire got wrapped around my front tire. Needless to say, I almost ended up with my face on the concrete. After that incident I threw out my collection of head phone's. They all had the stupid long cord that seemed to have it out for me.
My ex-wife introduced me to
Chic Blvd. I have recently been trying out my new
RockBuds. They are ear phone's that have an adjustable, retractable cord. This was the answer that I had been looking for all along! They also have very a cool design on them. There are several different one's to choose from for men. I chose the
"Wings like Eagle's" style. I think they suit me well. I also like the
"Camo" pattern.

The ear phone's have a nicely crisp sound quality. The sound quality is evenly balanced, just enough of the high and low tones for my liking.
RockBuds pump out lots of sound, without blowing out my ear-drums. They have a sturdy casing, with strong but surprisingly comfortable rubber ear plugs. The spring loaded retractable cord seems to be the solution that I had been looking for all along. To extend the cord, you just pull on both ends till it is at the desired length. To retract them you pull on the ear phone side only, and they will spring back into the casing device. The wire coating is a very strong and durable coating, not that cheaply made rubbery plastic coating that you find on other products. It also has a convenient clip to attach to your belt, shirt, or where ever you choose.
RockBuds have a sleek and sophisticated look, that as an adult, I find appealing. Though I believe they would make a nice accessory from adults to pre-teens.
RockBuds are ear-phones that son and father alike could adorn.
Chic Blvd is geared mainly towards women and children but they throw us guys a bone now and then.

I see the construction to be top notch for such affordable ear phones. I have paid more for much less. To tell you them truth, I have been listening to them while writing this post, they fit into the earphones plug on just about any laptop or music playing device. I didn't want to wake anyone up with my music. I am one of those dad's that loves his music. My
RockBuds will keep my jams going where-ever I go. So if you like great sound without the mess of tangled, loose cords and wires, go to
Chic Blvd, click on
"Shop Chic Blvd", and then
"Techie Accessories". Scroll down to the
"RockBuds". Men, when you get your own
RockBuds, go ahead and pick out a pair of shiny
Chic Buds for your woman or daughter, because if you don't, you might lose yours to the ladies in you life.
